A basement upgrade where the homeowner wanted a wow factor! We helped transform this stylish living space with a bespoke home cinema, a discrete entertainment system for the bar, and smart lighting to create the perfect ambiance.

The dedicated cinema includes crystal clear 4K video from a Sony projector, displayed on the large projection screen, and sensational surround sound by Anthem and Artcoustic to make film, television and gaming an experience like no other. The bar includes a fantastic stereo sound system, driven by Sonos, with a large flatscreen TV that descends from the ceiling for use. Both rooms share access to Sky & Apple TV video via the multi-room video entertainment system

To ensure they could relax in the knowledge that they’ll never miss a visitor, we included a video doorbell outside the front door. Calls are collected on stylish touch panels in each roo and their smart phones, and when a call is made the cinema pauses playback and automatically displays live video from the doorbell camera. Meanwhile, our crafted smart lighting solution manages LED strip, neon signs, wall lights, lamps, and down-lights to deliver the perfect ambience relaxing and entertaining. The whole experience is managed by a comprehensive Control4 smart home system for simplicity and ease of use.
