This renovation project that involved converting a garage into a blended video editing suite and home cinema, was a project we knew we had to be a part of. This installation was the centrepiece of a total home technology upgrade undertaken over several months, and the perfect opportunity to leverage a stunning cinema for work and pleasure.

The cinema space was a converted single garage, so the width of the room dictated the size of the projected image. To maximise the available space, we turned to our friends at ‘Cinema build systems’, employing a fabric wall ‘system’ that incorporates the projection screen – this artful solution not only provides aesthetic and acoustic advantages, but allowed us to create an image from the 4K Sony projector that leverages the full width of the room. With an awesome Anthem cinema amplifier and custom Triad speakers, most of which are hidden behind the screen, we created a cinematic experience that packs a punch! Automated LED strip and downlights blend gently to create the right ambience, whether the homeowner is editing high resolution video or enjoying a movie, all controllable through the property’s Control4 system.
